Total supports Motor Transport Awards 2020 Apprenticeship of the Year award

Apprenticeships play a vital part of the recruitment, retention, and continuing success of the transport industry, and indeed, Total. That is why Total Lubricants is very proud to announce our sponsorship of the Apprenticeship of the Year category at the Motor Transport Awards 2020.

Motor Transport Awards 2020 – celebrating the sector

The Motor Transport Awards aims to applaud the companies and teams driving innovation and success in the motor transport sector. Alongside Apprenticeship of the Year, 2020’s awards shortlist spans a whole host of areas, highlighting the best in technology, business excellence, vehicles, fleet operators, and much more.

How Total Lubricants supports the motor transport sector

Total Lubricants is keenly aware of the challenges faced by fleet operators in the UK. Whether fleets are composed of HGVs, buses, vans, or lorries, keeping them efficiently running is crucial – reducing costs and providing space to take advantage of new opportunities.

Oil is a vital part of ensuring this efficiency, and Total Lubricants’ range of high-quality, durable commercial lubricants guarantee this, protecting components and improving performance to reduce maintenance and running costs.

Lubricants such as Total RUBIA are subject to constant development in the lab so they meet or exceed the needs of heavy-duty engines and fleet operators – just one of the reasons that Total products are tried, tested, and recommended by major manufacturers. Going further, Total’s value-added services proactively support businesses, helping them better use their oils to their advantage, working smarter and more effectively.

Championing successful apprenticeships

The award sponsored by Total Lubricants recognises the UK’s most successful apprentice schemes of the last 12 months. This year’s shortlist includes a range of transport businesses, including CM Downton, DAF Trucks, Motus Commercials, Tesco and XPO Logistics UK. Total’s OEM/Key Account Manager, Jason Ashby, will be presenting the award.

Understandably, this year’s event will take place entirely online on the MTA website on Wednesday, October 7th at 7pm. Register today to view the awards broadcast from the comfort of your own home – black tie optional.
